Situated up on the Chilcotin Plateau, Terra Nostra Guest Ranch has the advantage of being on the less stormy side of the Coast Range mountains. This means there are more ski days! The ranch is located in an area that accesses mountains where we have not done much exploring, so the opportunity to ski, and name, first descents is very much a possibility.
The skiing is similar to the rugged terrain accessible from all our lodge locations. Spectacular, above treeline terrain dominates, while there is some tree skiing when visibility drops.
Another great feature of this zone is that there's a backcountry cabin deep in the mountains, making it a perfect place for lunch.
Tip: as we host just 8 people here, get your own group together and have exclusive access to the whole property and helicopter!
Skiing as a single group of 8 guests and 2 guides has the advantage of eliminating the waiting time for the helicopter servicing other groups, since yours is the only group!
